The Zeiss 24-70mm (2.8) zoom is specially designed for use with Sony Alpha mount cameras and is easily adapted to the Sony NEX FS-100 and FS-700 cameras with an adapter that comes free with the lens upon request.  These cameras can electronically read and control all aspects of the lens including auto-focus with face detection and exposure.
