The advantage of push-pull zooms is the ability to quickly set zoom and focus with one adjustment and the low price point.  The trade off is that focus changes as you zoom out so you cannot zoom all the way in, set focus, and then retain focus when you zoom out to a wide.

These zoom lenses have a manual iris, so you can use them with any camera that has a Nikon F mount adapter including the Sony FS-100, Sony F3, Panasonic AF-100, as well as any camera with a Canon EF mount.

*These lenses were originally used on SLR's and therefore completely cover a super 35mm chip (Sony PMW-F3, Sony NEX-FS100, RED Epic/One, etc.)
