Matthews Red Dolly

The Matthews Red Dolly is essentially a souped up Doorway Dolly.  The base has an array of 2K receivers, so you can mount C-stands directly into it to hold your monitor, lights, etc.  We have also mounted the Seven Jib onto the bazooka camera mount (use lots of sand bags for safety) to move quickly between shots during studio shoots.

As far as standard dolly moves, the wheels can be locked straight or at a 45 degree angle.  If you are working with a smooth surface, then the moves will be smooth, but not comparable to a dolly shot with track and skateboard wheels.

(1) 100mm or 150mm Bowl (if you have a 75mm we will supply an adapter)

PJ Production Package - 125/day, 375/week

Same as Basic Package PLUS:

(1) Additional Bazooka
(1) Bucket Seat

 

The crew on this music video was able to mount (2) Kino banks onto the dolly itself along with the camera and operator.  The 2K receivers along the base allowed this to happen.
